Escher gang building… part 2. So, let us crack on with building our Queen, Matriarchs and sister champion! I’ve thrown together a rough list for what I’m aiming for here over on YakGames. In our previous post on our Escher gang
I was going to go with a plasma pistol/ whip option for the Queen, but I wanted to keep her jacket. So rather than do a funky conversion, I’ve decided to order this kit from Forgeworld. It’s pricey, but it’s a sweet miniature, so I am happy!
The Escher queen is going to have the lash whip… or I might swap that out to the power sword. If you want to make the conversion, you can snip off the last just above the handle & glue on the sword part. As for the combi-needler, it’s not my first choice, but as I currently don’t play the game, I don’t mind!
For our first Escher matriarch, we are going acid shells shotgun, with a couple of close combat weapons. Hopefully, she will be able to get in close & deliver some pain!!
Our second Escher matriarch will be wielding a plasma gun, the first option would be getting the upgrade from Forgeworld. I am planning on getting the metal plasma cannon miniature from elsewhere however. This does give me another body option, maybe carrying a chem thrower? What do you think?
Our sister specialist is going to have the needle rifle! We need a bit of long distance offence, so this rifle will be a good choice. This is going to wrap up our Escher gang building, which does give us a couple of spare bodies.
Extra Escher gang
So we have a couple of extra bodies left – what shall we do with them? Firstly, I am going to build the chem thrower – I don’t know how good she is, but it seems thematic!
And here we have an extra Little Sister for our Esher gang, should she be required. In my opinion, it’s always good to have someone pointing at an incoming enemy, or an ammo stash to get to! Something I have noticed in the images, is the mould lines! I could have sworn I had removed them, but with the lousy light, I couldn’t tell. This is why I have ordered a temporary light for this house before my eyes completely fail!
